How to Access the GiveSmart Academy 

Below are the steps to access the GiveSmart Academy. They are broken down by the Organizations steps, as well as, Volunteer steps. **We recommend that all volunteers complete the training at least the week prior to the event.  Once the course is completed, the user will be provided with a training certificate. 

ORGANIZATION TRAINING STEPS: 

To ensure that you are trained on Course 1: Onboarding Of Our Platform and Course 2: Event Day Training, please follow the below steps: 

  • Go to:  https://training-givesmart.talentlms.com/index 
  • Click ‘Sign Up‘ at the top right corner.Enter the appropriate information and create a profile. Enter your event code (provided by your Account Manager) for the Reference ID field. 
  • Once you have entered the training center, click on ‘Join Group‘ on the right side and enter the Group Key as: GiveSmartDIY 
  • Then, click on the GiveSmart logo in the upper left corner to view your courses. 


VOLUNTEER TRAINING STEPS:

To ensure that all volunteers are trained, please send them the steps below. **We recommend having your volunteers complete this training the week prior to your event. 

  • Go to: https://training-givesmart.talentlms.com/index  
  • Click ‘Sign Up’ at the top right corner.
  • Enter the appropriate information and create a profile. Enter (your event code provided by your Account Manager) for the Reference ID field.
  • Once you have entered the training center, click on ‘Join Group’ on the right side and enter the Group Key as: GSVolunteer 
  • Then, click on the GiveSmart logo in the upper left corner to view your courses.  

NOTE: There are supplemental materials in the ‘My Files’ section in the dropdown menu at the top of the page by your name that can be accessed. The reference guide is a great tool that can be printed off and provided as a ‘cheat sheet’ for your organization and volunteers during the event.
