Matt Tuchband joined GiveSmart™ in 2015 as Director of Accounting & Finance as the next step in a 17-year career in financial services and entrepreneurial ventures. Matt’s goal is to continue building a productive and highly efficient finance department that serves as a key partner in driving the business forward.
Prior to joining GiveSmart, Matt was the VP of Finance at Gesture (formerly Auctions By Cellular LLC) where he provided financial and strategic leadership. Matt was also responsible for leading HR initiatives, contract reviews, investor relations, and preparation of Board meeting materials.
Before Gesture, Matt owned and operated a commercial and residential insurance remediation business, which he exited profitably. Earlier in his career, Matt worked as an investment professional in the leveraged finance industry, managing a portfolio of over $100MM in senior debt investments. He has also led the strategic planning, capital planning, and budgeting processes for both large and small organizations, including Quaker Oats and Follett Corporation.
Matt received his MBA from the Kellogg School of Management and his B.S. from Indiana University.
Matt is a driven business professional with a consistent focus on helping companies and clients that make the world a better place with a high level of integrity. He currently resides with his wife and two children in the metro Atlanta area.
