Dan Rohn joined GiveSmart™ in January 2013, through a business combination between GiveSmart™ and Dan’s former company, AuctionsByCellular Productions (ABCP). During 2012 at ABCP, a licensee of GiveSmart’s service platform, Dan worked with business partner Bob Treash to successfully introduce GiveSmart’s benefits to the US market. Dan’s involvement with mobile solutions for non-profit fundraising predates both GiveSmart and ABCP. As pioneers in the industry in 2008, Dan and Bob developed & delivered early mobile technologies specifically designed to manage silent auctions, maximize fundraising revenues and provide an interactive experience for patrons and donors at fundraising events.
At GiveSmart, Dan exploits his experience and passion for excellent customer service by spearheading the successful delivery of GiveSmart’s solutions to national accounts, strategic partnerships and opening new markets with new customers – where first impressions are especially important. Dan also works to market GiveSmart’s message to stakeholders in the non-profit and events management worlds to expand GiveSmart’s business opportunities
Prior to turning his efforts to non-profit fundraising, Dan was a telecommunications professional during that industry’s restructuring, new competition and new technologies stemming from the 1984 break up of the original AT&T monopoly. Dan served as a senior sales and service delivery professional, including National Sales Manager roles at an interexchange carrier, incumbent & competitive local exchange carriers, an online service provider and a mobile service provider. In these roles, Dan experienced firsthand the disruptive innovation of mobile applications to traditional business models, experience he has applied directly to the non-profit fundraising model.
A resident of Indianapolis, Dan studied Business Administration, at Gonzaga University, Spokane, Washington.

The increased revenue is nice, but the fact that I did not have to worry about check out, or monitoring the auction tables or the auction at all, gave me the freedom I needed to mingle with guests, network and take care of other event issues.
As you know this was the first time that our Temple has used a bidding company during our annual auction. I can't tell you how happy I am that we did so.
