Technology Meets Fundraising.

In 2009, a small digital marketing agency was challenged by one of its clients, a cancer hospice, to help them better engage patrons at their next silent auction event.

Instead of bidding with pen and paper, the little agency proposed a mobile bidding application.

The cancer hospice raised three times more than it ever had before.

The next week a handful of other charities were clamoring for the technology.

PROGRESS AND AN EXPANDING PRESENCE

Everyone instantly knew that fundraising technology had enormous potential. Over the years, this good idea continues to get better.

  • 2010

    In order to meet the growing demand, the digital marketing pioneers create BidSmart. BidSmart introduces text-based bidding.

  • 2011

    BidSmart expands to Asia, introducing smartphone bidding in the process.

  • 2012

    Providing attention-getting service at major events for organizations like Make-A-Wish and Ronald McDonald House, BidSmart gains momentum.

  • 2013

    Fundraising technology, business models and levels of customer service continue to develop. Multiple licensees decide to form one new revolutionary company: GiveSmart.

  • 2014

    With unrivalled customer service and remarkable results—GiveSmart emerges as the gold standard in the fundraising industry.
